Philosophy/Style

Alice has been noted by students and peers for the empathy she brings to the classroom environment. Her teaching style is described as gentle, loving, and authentic, combining an intuitive, thoughtful approach with precision and intentionality.

Her approach is founded on accessibility and inclusion, using compassion and imagination to create a safe and vibrant space for all. For Alice, yoga is all about healing and restoring the body and mind - her greatest passion lies in restorative yoga, reiki, and guided meditation practices to combat anxiety, trauma, and daily stress.

Alice is similarly inspired by Katonah Yoga, an alignment-based practice founded by Nevine Michaan, incorporating Taoist principles, geometry, and metaphor to focus on longevity, sustainability, and reaching personal potential. This modality brings together the esoteric and physical to create something truly engaging and exciting.

All ages are welcome from children to seniors - Alice has worked with students from 3 to 83!

She is also available for corporate sessions in either small or large group formats, virtual and in person. Her focus for these sessions typically is helping to provide stress management and to bring movement and breathing breaks into the work day.
